Job summary

ArtiFlex Group in Clyde, OH seeks a Quality Technician to maintain the gauge calibration system and QA lab, and to perform layouts and capability studies. You will use metrology equipment and document results, support production with fixtures, and assist in root-cause analysis and training of operators.

The role requires familiarity with GD&T, CMM/scanners, and Microsoft Excel. Lifting up to 40 pounds is necessary and prior IATF 16949 experience is valued.

Qualifications

• GRR (gauge R&R) studies are preferred.
• Familiar with GD&T and interpreting technical specs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the gauge calibration system and Quality lab.
• Perform part layouts, gauge layouts, and capability studies.
• Document results from metrology equipment and fixtures.
• Monitor production schedule and provide samples, fixtures and tools as needed.
• Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Train production operators in QA measuring procedures.
• Develop and maintain quality procedures and work instructions.
• Support all quality processes for the Clyde facility.
