Momentive Technologies in Strongsville, OH is seeking a Tools & Gauge Quality Technician to calibrate, maintain, and manage hundreds of precision gauges and metrology devices. You will work with Quality Engineers, Manufacturing, and R&D to ensure accuracy, traceability, and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a 2-year technical degree, 3–5 years metrology experience, CQT/CQI/CCT certifications, and hands-on experience with CMMs, XRF, and pyrometers.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical or engineering degree.
• 3-5 years of metrology or calibration experience.
• ASQ CQT/CQI/CCT certifications.
• Formal metrology training (NCSLI or NAVSEA).
• Hands-on with CMMs (operation & software).
• Familiar with XRF & pyrometers.
• Proficiency with calibration systems (SAP, QT9).
• Experience with Minitab for statistics.
• Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, Word.

Responsibilities

• Calibration & maintenance of measurement tools; document results.
• Equipment management: lifecycle, inventory, traceability.
• Support audits and root-cause analysis for measurement discrepancies.
• Provide technical support for measurement issues on the production floor.
