Job summary

Hai Robotics is seeking a Quality Technician – Manufacturing to support quality operations within our manufacturing facility. You will inspect incoming materials, components, and products to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, SOPs, and established quality standards.

You will identify quality issues, verify rework effectiveness, and partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to ensure product quality throughout the process.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical certification in Quality, Manufacturing, Electronics, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform incoming inspections of materials, components, and parts per SOPs and drawings.
  • Inspect manufactured products for appearance, mechanical structure, electrical circuitry, functionality and assembly quality.
  • Identify, document, and communicate non-conforming materials, components, and finished products.
  • Complete inspection and test reports with clear descriptions of defects and quality concerns.
  • Verify repaired or reworked products meet corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate electronic records of inspection results and non-conformities.
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective action activities in manufacturing and supplier quality.

We are seeking a Quality Technician – Manufacturing to support quality operations within our manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for inspecting and testing incoming materials, components, and manufactured products to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, SOPs, and established quality standards.

The Quality Technician identifies and documents quality issues, verifies rework effectiveness, supports root cause and corrective action activities, and partners with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to ensure product quality throughout the manufacturing process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform incoming inspections of materials, components, and parts in accordance with inspection SOPs, engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
  • Inspect and test manufactured products for appearance, mechanical structure, electrical circuitry, functionality, assembly quality, and overall workmanship.
  • Identify, document, and communicate non-conforming materials, components, and finished products.
  • Complete inspection and test reports with clear and accurate descriptions of defects, abnormalities, and quality concerns.
  • Verify repaired or reworked products to confirm corrective actions have effectively resolved identified quality issues.
  • Track quality abnormalities, root causes, containment actions, corrective actions, and final resolutions.
  • Maintain accurate electronic records of inspection results, non‑conformities, rework activities, and corrective actions.
  • Perform re-inspection of overdue, quarantined, reworked, or previously rejected materials and products as required.
  • Prepare and issue complete inspection reports following inspection and testing activities.
  • Compile weekly and monthly quality reports, including inspection results, defect trends, recurring issues, and other quality metrics.
  • Perform daily checks and routine maintenance of inspection instruments, gauges, testing devices, and other quality equipment.
  • Ensure inspection and measurement equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective and preventive action activities related to manufacturing and supplier quality issues.
  • Work cross‑functionally with Manufacturing, Engineering, Warehouse, Supply Chain, and other teams to resolve quality issues and minimize production disruptions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to product quality and manufacturing processes.
  • Perform additional quality-related duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical certification in Quality, Manufacturing, Electronics, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred.

Required Experience

  • 1–3 years of quality, manufacturing, inspection, testing, or related technical experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, inspection standards, and SOPs.
  • Experience inspecting or testing mechanical, electrical, electronic, or electromechanical products preferred.
  • Experience using inspection and measurement equipment such as calipers, micrometers, multimeters, gauges, and other testing tools.
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing quality processes, non-conformance management, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Strong attention to detail, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to accurately document and communicate quality findings.
  • Experience in robotics, automation, electronics, or advanced manufacturing is preferred.

Preferred Knowledge

  • Incoming Quality Control (IQC), in-process quality control (IPQC), and final product inspection.
  • NCR, CAPA, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes.
  • ISO 9001 or similar Quality Management Systems.
  • ERP, MES, or Quality Management Systems (QMS).
  • Microsoft Excel and quality reporting tools.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

  • Ability to travel occasionally to customer sites as required.
