Job summary

Owens Corning is seeking a Quality Technician for day shift at our Cortland Township plant. The role supports plant quality, lab operations, R&D trials, and essential accounting controls, with duties spanning testing, documentation, and batch-release support.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and organized, capable of maintaining accurate records while collaborating with quality, operations, R&D, and finance teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in laboratory, quality control, materials testing, ERP, or manufacturing preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety compliance and chemical handling per site procedures.
• Perform QC and batch testing; document results.
• Support accounts payable, invoice review, reconciliation, and approvals.
• Prepare lab batches and execute foam testing; record observations.
• Participate in TPM and continuous improvement activities.
• Complete required trainings and cross-train for coverage.
