Qualifications

• 64 hours in a science curriculum.
• 1 year of general chemistry with labs for science majors.
• 1 year of organic chemistry with labs for science majors.
• 1 college algebra course or higher-level math course.
• TWIC eligibility within a reasonable timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate Lab processes and equipment for safe, efficient operation.
• Perform laboratory testing to analyze specific samples.
• Evaluate results and report findings.
• Provide non-routine support to the production unit.
• Conduct process tests to improve unit operations.
• Process data with laboratory software/databases.
• Perform minor maintenance of laboratory instruments.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
