Job summary

Adler Pelzer Group seeks a Quality Manager to help launch a manufacturing facility in Salem, Virginia. The role ensures quality standards are met throughout the production process and supports continuous improvement initiatives.

The candidate will perform receiving inspections, material tests, and audit activities while adhering to ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and IATF 16949 requirements, with occasional weekend overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Advanced problem solving required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Auditing experience at quality levels is preferred.
• Self-starter with initiative to work with minimal supervision.
• Driven to complete tasks and achieve results.

Responsibilities

• Complete Receiving Inspection per Work Instructions.
• Test realization of pellet specific gravity.
• Tests realization of Melt flow rate.
• Prepare material test reports.
• Assist in training new operators to WI’s and customer specification requirements.
• Adhere to ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
• Execute layered process audits.
