Job summary

STS Group is launching a manufacturing facility in Salem, Virginia, seeking a Quality Manager to ensure quality standards during production. The role involves overseeing receiving inspection, material tests, and adherence to customer specs, while supporting ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 frameworks.

The successful candidate will train operators, maintain test fixtures, and participate in audits and continuous improvement, with overtime and weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

• Advanced problem solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Auditing experience.
• Self-starter with initiative.
• 1-2 years manufacturing quality experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Complete Receiving Inspection per Work Instructions.
• Test realization of pellet specific gravity.
• Tests realization of Melt flow rate.
• Prepare material test reports.
• Assurance the Check Fixture Usage.
• Provide maintenance to Check fixture devices.
• Perform of Scrap Entry-Reporting.
• Complete testing per Work Instructions.
• Complet es forms, recording, evaluating and reporting quality and reliability data.
• Assist in training new operators to WI's and customer specification requirements.
