Job summary

Lumafield is seeking a hands-on Quality Technician to help ensure the quality of materials and assemblies used to build our industrial CT scanners. Your primary focus will be incoming material inspection, processing SCARs, and investigating quality issues on the production floor.

Working closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Engineering, you will document problems and drive corrective actions to keep production moving.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in quality inspection or a related hands-on manufacturing role.
• Ability to read drawings, specs, and work instructions and judge parts against criteria.
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, and inspection tools with proper handling.
• Clear documentation of defects, measurements, and investigation results.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming parts against drawings, specs and inspection plans.
• Investigate in-process quality issues and support corrective actions.
• Process SCARs: document defects, coordinate with suppliers, track responses.
• Identify nonconforming material and maintain records; coordinate disposition.
• Maintain quality logs and help improve inspection instructions with teams.
