Insight Global is seeking a Quality Technician to inspect incoming vendor material, customer material, final and in-process products in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You will perform visual and mechanical inspections, GD&T measurements, and CMM-based non-contact checks to ensure conformance to drawings and customer specs.

Qualificações

• 2+ years of manufacturing experience focused on quality.
• Experience maintaining QC logs and records.
• Ability to read engineering prints and blueprints for machined housings and feedthroughs.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Ability to navigate the shop floor daily.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect material visually and mechanically using hand tools, gauges, and optical equipment to the engineering print at receiving, in-process and final inspection.
• Conduct GD&T related to measuring parts and the position of features.
• Utilize a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) for non-contact measurement.
• Test parts on fine leak tester, hipot, capacitance meter, solder pot, and other test equipment to meet customer requirements.
• Familiar with AS9102, the aerospace first article requirements and reporting.
• Familiar with IPC 610 / J Std / Mil 883 industry standards for testing and inspection.
• Ensure all inspection documentation is completed correctly.
• Maintains QC logs and records.
• Perform internal calibrations and provides calibration support as needed.
• Verifies that the proper documentation accompanies the shipment of product.
• Package product per the customer's requirements.
• Perform corrective action on rejected material.
• Perform returned material authorizations (RMA).
• Assist with corrective action or feedback on quality issues, as a Quality team member.
• Provide special project support as needed.

• Prior experience working with Magnifying lenses, tweezers, microscopes, drop indicators, and verniers

• Proficiency in LabVIEW, Python, or C
• Applicable certifications (ISO/Six Sigma)
