Job summary

Lumafield is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Technician to assemble and test CT scanning systems at our Everett, MA facility. You will work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to refine processes and ensure quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• We require a flexible, hands-on worker with strong organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools and reading mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assemble complex electro-mechanical assemblies from detailed work instructions and CAD drawings.
• Perform QC checks on assemblies using factory checklists.
• Test and troubleshoot CT scanning equipment to ensure it meets specifications.
• Track work performed using company software tools.
• Document issues, reworks, and machine configurations for traceability.
• Provide feedback to improve work instructions and processes.
• Test X-ray sources in a Manufacturing Test Bed per instructions.
• Lift up to 60 lbs and operate overhead lifting equipment.
• Crate large-scale equipment according to instructions.
