Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Quality Technician III for 1st shift (Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:00 PM) to inspect parts and materials, ensuring conformance to specifications. The role requires following procedures, updating rework instructions, and supporting continuous quality improvements.

You will use gauges and calibration equipment, train others as needed, and enter data into the HQMS system. This position emphasizes 5S, safety, and strong attention to detail in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Basic math and basic computer skills.
• Experience with measuring equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect material and parts per quality specification after receipt.
• Update work instructions for reworks and quotes.
• Create and carry out sampling plans.
• Assist in training on new jobs as needed.
• Set up and maintain rework stations.
• Oversee rework projects and document output.
• Use gauges and calibration tools for measurements.
• Maintain calibration records in HQMS system.
• Take corrective action for quality improvement and customer satisfaction.
• Manage NCRs/SCARs/CARs in HQMS system.
• Perform product and workplace audits with documented results.
• Control scrapped parts until disposition is determined.
• Prepare samples for shipment or testing.
• React to changes and handle other tasks as assigned.
