Job summary

Milwaukee Tool seeks a Quality Technician to ensure products meet defined standards. You will use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMM and vision systems, perform dimensional inspections of incoming raw material, and complete NCMRs with ERP/Oracle transactions.

Daily tasks include packaging conformance audits, maintaining quality documentation, and collaborating with the team to solve problems while adhering to safety policies. A high school diploma and 1 year quality experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of quality technician experience preferred.
• Understanding of metrology fundamentals preferred.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Use a variety of quality inspection tools including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, hardness testing, UPC scanners, paint thickness testers and other lab equipment.
• Operate CMM and Vision System Inspection equipment.
• Complete Non-Conforming Material Reports (NCMRs) and ERP/Oracle transactions as needed.
• Ensure packaging requirements are met by completing daily packaging conformance audits.
• Complete dimensional inspections of incoming raw material.
• Navigate document repository web page to locate inspection reports, blueprints and other quality documents.
