Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is hiring a Quality Technician III for 1st shift in Olive Branch, MS. You will inspect materials, run sampling plans, and keep calibration records while supporting continuous quality improvements.

The role requires strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and basic math and computer skills. You will set up rework stations and assist training on new jobs in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Basic math and basic computer skills required.
• Working knowledge of basic measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect material and parts per quality specification.
• Update WI for reworks and job quotes.
• Create sampling plans and carry out sampling.
• Assist in training employees on new jobs as needed.
• Set up and maintain rework stations.
• Oversee rework projects and document rework output.
• Use lab equipment for gage calibration and auditing parts.
• Manage calibration records and update records in HQMS system.
• Take corrective action for continuous quality improvement.
• Create and complete NCRs, SCARs, and CARs and enter information into HQMS.
• Perform product and workplace audits with documented results.
• Control scrapped or rejected parts until disposition is determined.
• Collect and prepare samples for shipment or testing.
• Use gauges and other equipment to measure tolerances and dimensions.
• Move stock using mobile equipment for checks and testing.
• Practice 5S and safety.
• React to change and handle other tasks as assigned.
