Job summary

The Hillman Group in Hamilton, OH is seeking a Quality Technician II to inspect and test products, analyze failures, and document findings for quality improvements. You will work with various inspection tools and ensure compliance with procedures, maintaining traceability of records.

Responsibilities include implementing QA plans, developing process controls, and performing tests to determine root causes. You will also track complaints, support quality investigations, and assist the Quality

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 5–8 years in a related field or vocational QA training with 2–5 years experience.
• Solid understanding of mechanical measurement methods and inspection setup.
• Proven ability to document test results and quality trends with charts.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor quality assurance plans to meet specifications and standards.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Process Control Plans.
• Design, set up and perform destructive and non-destructive tests to measure performance and root causes.
• Develop and maintain quality procedures/instructions and ensure proper use by production.
• Track, report, and analyze customer complaints and field failures.
• Assist the Quality Manager in resolving customer issues.
