Hitachi Energy is seeking a Quality Technician for 2nd shift Production Quality to inspect products, analyze data, and drive process improvements across the plant. You will partner with operations to ensure customer specifications are met and reinforce standardized processes for consistency and accountability.

This role emphasizes hands-on inspections, root-cause analysis, and collaboration across shifts while upholding safety and high-quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or quality-focused environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills with willingness to learn Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to analyze issues and support root cause problem-solving.
• Comfort working across teams and shifts.
• Commitment to safe work practices and high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform product inspections at multiple stages of the manufacturing process.
• Inspect units prior to customer final inspection.
• Identify root causes and close Quality Notifications (QNs).
• Support customer issue resolution and wrap-up meeting actions.
• Create, communicate, and maintain quality alerts.
• Assist with procedure reviews, audits, and CCRP action items.
• Verify adherence to standardized processes and work instructions.
• Support training efforts to promote safety, quality, and consistency across shifts.
