Job summary

Andersen Corporation is seeking a Quality Technician I to perform daily quality control tasks in the Bayport, MN area. You will audit finished products from assembly lines, verify QC standards, and train operators on quality requirements to ensure adherence to specifications and performance standards.

With 2–5 years in Quality/Mfg and a technology/engineering background, you’ll contribute to robust process controls while spending most of your time in production areas.

Qualifications

• 2- or 4-year degree in Technology/Engineering or equivalent experience
• 2-5 years Quality/Mfg. experience
• Basic knowledge of quality and lean manufacturing principles
• Basic knowledge of quality systems, SPC and process capability
• Strong aptitude in process improvement and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Perform Finished Product Audits of assembly lines and communicate results to production lines and leadership.
• Verify Quality Control standards are followed and operators use measurement equipment correctly.
• Identify and implement opportunities to reduce measurement error.
• Train operators on quality requirements and document findings.
