Job summary

Dover Food Retail in Keosauqua, Iowa, is seeking a Quality Technician I to analyze quality issues and implement corrective actions across production lines. You will ensure calibration and QC processes align with ISO 17025 and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

You will collaborate with production teams to educate on quality control, perform inspections, document data, and support end-of-line tests to guarantee product integrity before shipment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in a manufacturing quality role.
• Ability to analyze data and identify root causes.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze quality problems to identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Eduate production team on QC issues and improve safety and quality.
• Coordinate quality inspections with managers and team leads.
• Conduct dimensional and visual inspection of cases before shipment.
• Create corrective actions and document issues in the data base.
• Maintain and interpret quality charts (Pareto/SPC).
• Perform process audits to ensure compliance with standards.
• Operate inspection tools: tape measure, caliper, Inficon tester, Hipot, PosiTest thickness.
• Support end-of-line testing of cases: Remote, Hot case, Self-contained.
