Job summary

Amrize is hiring a Quality Technician I to perform quality control tests on materials (sand/rock) for specific product lines, using ASTM and AASHTO standards. You will conduct lab and field sampling, analyze data, and help maintain QA documentation in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; technical education preferred.
• At least two years in materials QC laboratory or similar.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Google applications.

Responsibilities

• Carry out lab and field sampling to ensure specs.
• Perform testing per ASTM/AASHTO standards.
• Update QC databases and prepare summaries.
• Assist with documentation of material control plans.
• Maintain and calibrate lab equipment.
• Support safety and environmental policies.
