Job summary

Dover Food Retail, a Dover Corporation company, is seeking a Quality Technician I for the Keosauqua, Iowa facility. You will analyze quality issues, perform inspections, and work with production to improve safety and product quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Analyze quality problems to identify root causes and implement corrective action.
• Address customer concerns and provide solutions.
• Educate production team on quality control issues and improvements.
• Coordinate quality inspections with department managers and team leads.
• Conduct dimensional and visual inspections of cases prior to shipment to ensure specifications are met.
• Verify refrigeration components and case measurements during production.
• Create corrective actions to meet required specifications.
• Record issues and defects in the data base.
• Create and interpret quality charts (Pareto, SPC).
• Conduct process audits to ensure compliance with standards.
