Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a detail‑oriented inspector to ensure quality and compliance of incoming shipments and manufactured products. The role involves hands‑on inspection of cases and parts, mentoring teammates, and upholding safety standards in a fast‑paced environment.

You will interact with Purchasing, Final Assembly and Engineering to resolve issues, perform data collection, and contribute to quality improvements through measurements and audits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required; ASQ certification is a plus.
• Experience with Excel, Word and PowerPoint is helpful.
• AS400 knowledge and precision measurement tools are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, accurate handling of incoming shipments and manufactured products.
• Inspect cases and parts, and train others as needed.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Final Assembly and supporting areas on specs and changes.
• Work with Engineering on design, prints and issues; perform data collection and charting.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and support audits.
