Job summary

The AZEK Company in Boise, ID is seeking a Quality Auditor to ensure production quality and compliance across the plant. The role conducts routine quality checks, documents results, and serves as the primary liaison between Production Supervisors and Engineering Managers on quality issues.

The candidate will handle measurement tools, participate in line clearance, color/part audits, and support the red tag process while maintaining strict quality standards in a fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing

Qualifications

  • Experience with SPC is preferred.
  • Experience with ISO9000/QS9000/TS16949 Quality Systems & Auditing is a plus.
  • Strong decision making, analytical skills and proven ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving and mathematical abilities.
  • Able to read quality measuring tools (caliper, micrometer, square, tape measure).
  • Good communication skills.
  • Able to work in a manufacturing environment where temperatures can be hot.
  • Self-directed, motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.
  • Willingness to work a 12-hour shift on a 2-2-3 schedule.

Physical Demands

Ability to work in an environment that can become hot/cold (temperature) depending on the weather. While performing the duties of this job, the employee must have the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment and is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; climb ladders; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear. The employee must individually lift and/or move up to 50 lbs., infrequently. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
