Job description

To thrive as a Quality Technician I at Behr, you should be detail oriented and eager to learn. In this role, you'll support manufacturing and quality operations by preparing and testing paint samples to ensure products meet quality control standards and drive improvements. No extensive lab experience is required. We provide full training on equipment, procedures, and systems!

Each day, you'll receive assignments related to quality checks, raw materials, or product improvement projects. You'll prepare and analyze samples using lab equipment and perform tests such as viscosity, gloss, density, pH, and scrub testing. You'll accurately record results, compare samples, and maintain documentation so teams can evaluate product performance.

You'll also report any equipment or process issues and help keep the lab clean and organized by maintaining supplies, cleaning equipment, and supporting basic lab tasks. This is a full-time 2nd Shift position. The regular schedule is Monday through Thursday from 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM, providing three-day weekends.

• A Quality Technician I starts at $21.00/hr. Team members will receive a $0.50/hr increase at 6 months of employment and another $0.50/hr increase at one year of employment.
