Job summary

Behr Paint Company is hiring a Quality Technician I to support manufacturing and quality operations by preparing and testing paint samples to ensure product quality. You will record results, help drive improvements, and maintain thorough documentation for teams.

No extensive lab experience is required; Behr provides full training on equipment, procedures, and systems. This is a full-time, 2nd shift position with a Mon-Thu 4:00 PM–2:30 AM schedule and three-day weekends.

Qualifications

Job description

To thrive as a QualityTechnician Iat Behr, you should be detail oriented and eager to learn. In this role,you’llsupport manufacturing and quality operations by preparing and testing paint samples to ensure products meet quality control standards and drive improvements. No extensive lab experience isrequired. We provide full training on equipment, procedures, and systems!

Each day,you’llreceive assignments related to quality checks, raw materials, or product improvement projects.You’llprepare and analyze samples using lab equipment and perform tests such as viscosity, gloss, density, pH, and scrub testing.You’llaccurately record results, compare samples, andmaintaindocumentation so teams can evaluate product performance.

You’llalso report any equipment or processissues andhelp keep the lab clean and organized bymaintainingsupplies, cleaning equipment, and supporting basic lab tasks.

This is a full-time 2nd Shift position. The regular schedule is Monday through Thursday from 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM, providing three-day weekends.

• Strong organization and communication skills.You’llwork closely with supervisors and team members while documenting results andmaintainingclear records.

• Basic computer and technical skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Office or similar software and experience with SAP is a plus.

• A high school diploma orGEDisrequired.
