Job summary

Behr Paint Company is seeking a Quality Technician I for 2nd shift in Heath, OH. You will prepare and test samples, record results, and support quality improvements. Training is provided on equipment, procedures, and SAP.

A high school diploma is required and a strong emphasis on safety and organization is expected. You will contribute to product quality by performing viscosity, gloss, density, pH, and scrub tests, while keeping the lab clean and well-supplied.

In this role, you’ll support manufacturing and quality operations by preparing and testing paint samples to ensure products meet quality control standards and drive improvements. No extensive lab experience is required. We provide full training on equipment, procedures, and systems!Each day, you’ll receive assignments related to quality checks, raw materials, or product improvement projects. You’ll prepare and analyze samples using lab equipment and perform tests such as viscosity, gloss, density, pH, and scrub testing. You’ll accurately record results, compare samples, and maintain documentation so teams can evaluate product performance.You’ll also report any equipment or process issues and help keep the lab clean and organized by maintaining supplies, cleaning equipment, and supporting basic lab tasks.**Here’s what we’re looking for from you:*** Excellent attention to detail.
