Job Responsibilities

Carry out assignments from quality management, involved in assuring product quality. Maintain document control, calibration, product approval, weld control, and receiving inspection systems. Assist in operator training on quality-related issues. Report needs and opportunities for improvement of overall product quality as requested by quality management.

Essential Functions

1. Inspect, evaluate, and record results of purchased components using proper inspection procedures in accordance with Receiving Inspection Instructions.
2. Record results of Receiving Inspections and provide feedback on vendor performance following established procedures.
3. Inspect and evaluate components and suspensions returned from customers; specify work necessary before components can be returned to stock.
4. Collaborate with inventory control and other departments to maintain the M.R.B. area, ensuring accuracy of inventory and quarantine procedures.
5. Inspect assembled components for Intraax assembly/Loose Axle/Sabu products and monitor wheel end assembly.

Education and Training

Engineering or related technical degree or equivalent experience in the applicable area.

Minimum Qualifications

• Process knowledge in Assembly, Fabrication, or Machining.
• Computer literacy.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with different levels of management and production personnel.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
