Job description

Position: Quality Technician I

Location: Gastonia, NC

Wage: $21.58/hr

Shift: First Shift 7am-3pm

*Must be willing and flexible to work overtime when needed.*

Job Responsibilities

Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will:

  1. Problem solve to meet customer quality expectations.
  2. Measure critical product/process variables and report findings.
  3. Stop operations and seek assistance if processes are outside established limits.
What You'll Be Doing
  • Conduct offline testing on products.
  • Complete customer feedback promptly, identify root causes, and implement solutions.
  • Analyze trends in customer feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Participate in corrective and preventive action processes.
  • Assist with process capability studies.
  • Train plant personnel on quality systems.
  • Maintain customer property and document control processes.
  • Prepare COAs and COCs as needed.
  • Apply quality concepts, tools, and statistical methods.
  • Perform inspections and sampling plans.
  • Conduct quality audits and utilize various quality tools.
Qualifications

We'd love to hear from you if:

  • You are mission-driven and have at least one year of manufacturing quality experience.
  • You have calibration and operation experience with test equipment, and root cause/corrective action skills.
  • You possess a proactive attitude and excellent communication skills.
  • You can manage multiple tasks independently.
  • You understand our products and their quality standards.
  • You are reliable, committed, quality-focused, and able to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • You can read and understand manufacturing instructions and perform repetitive tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
