Job summary

Milo’s Tea Company Inc is seeking a Quality Trainee to ensure consistent product quality by enforcing Milo’s standards and food-safety practices. You will collect samples, run tests, and document results to support QA processes.

The role requires an Associate degree with preference for Biology, Food Science, or Chemistry. Familiarity with GMP/SQF and MS Office is expected; overtime and weekend work may be required as part of production schedules.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent required; Bachelor's preferred or 3 years related experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong data handling and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of GMP/SQF requirements and food safety testing practices.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all products meet Milo’s quality standards.
• Obtain samples for bacteria plating and daily quality checks.
• Monitor compliance with GMP/SQF requirements and food safety standards.
• Maintain lab equipment and perform calibrations per schedule.
• Assist with raw ingredient receipt, sampling, testing, and review.
• Perform routine testing: weights, volumes, colors, brix, codes, packaging integrity; document results.
