Job summary

Milo’s Tea Company in Tulsa is seeking a Quality Technician on the PM shift to help assure consistent product quality across production lines. You will obtain samples for testing, perform routine measurements, and verify GMP/SQF compliance with precision and documentation.

You’ll maintain lab equipment, support raw ingredient testing, and contribute to safety, environmental, and corporate responsibility programs.

Qualifications

• Associates degree minimum; bachelor’s preferred or 3 years related experience.
• Knowledge of Internet software including Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Ensure products meet Milo’s quality standards.
• Obtain samples for bacteria plating and daily quality checks.
• Monitor GMP or SQF requirements and food safety compliance.
• Maintain laboratory/testing equipment and calibrations.
• Assist with receipt of raw ingredients and sample testing.
• Monitor FIFO and report concerns to QA Manager.
• Perform testing and document weights, volumes, colors, brix, codes, packaging integrity.
• Perform environmental testing of air, water, and bacteria.
• Perform additional duties as directed by the QA Manager.
• Overtime and weekend work as required.

If you require assistance or accommodation to participate in the job application process, please contact [e-mail].**POSITION SUMMARY**The Quality Trainee will assure consistent quality of production by enforcing quality and manufacturing standards. **RESPONSIBILITIES*** Ensure all products are produced per Milo’s quality standards.* Obtain samples for bacteria plating and daily quality checks as needed.* Monitor compliance with and administer GMP or SQF requirements.* Ensure Food Safety and Food Quality compliance as directed.* Maintain all laboratory and testing equipment and perform calibrations per schedule.* Assist with the receipt of raw ingredients and sample, test and/or review.* Monitor FIFO and communicate concerns to the QA Manager.* Perform testing and document weights, volumes, colors, brix, codes, packaging integrity, and other routine testing as required.* Perform environmental testing of air, water, and bacteria according to schedules.* Perform additional duties as directed by the QA Manager.* Must be able to work overtime and weekends as required.* Collect and prepare samples for shipment as needed.* Uphold and participate in all Corporate Responsibility programming including recycling, social advocacy and MMAD volunteering opportunities.* Invest in and is an example of Milo’s Responsibility commitment which includes environmental, social, and corporate governance components. **QUALIFICATIONS*** Applicants must have an Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school minimum.
