Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a Quality Technician responsible for root cause analysis, audits, and sustaining quality performance across manufacturing and product development teams.

You will measure parts with calipers, micrometers, and CMM, develop standard work, and collaborate to reduce scrap and defects while upholding our high standards and customer commitments in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years in a quality control/assurance role.
• Associate-level quality technician skill set preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills including electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to upload programs to controller hardware.
• Strong computer skills (Windows, web apps).
• Self-starter.

Responsibilities

• Conduct root cause analysis on components, parts, and/or finished product and recommend fixes.
• Partner with manufacturing, engineering, product development, sales to address quality issues and reduce scrap.
• Develop and report internal and customer quality audits.
• Develop and implement standard work instructions and SOPs.
• Measure parts to prints using calipers, micrometers, CMM, etc.
• Conduct tests to ensure cases meet required internal and customer requirements.
