Job summary

Dover Food Retail (DFR) is seeking a Quality Technician to join our team in Virginia. You will conduct root cause analyses on components and products, partner with manufacturing, engineering, and sales to implement corrective actions, and support audits and standard work procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2 years in quality or related roles, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to diagnose electrical issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of experience in a quality role or equivalent.
• Associate-level Quality Technician skills are expected.
• Strong troubleshooting and electrical diagnosis ability.
• Ability to upload programs to controller hardware.
• Follow or help develop troubleshooting guides; strong computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct root cause analysis on components or finished products and recommend fixes.
• Partner with manufacturing, engineering, product development, and sales to address quality issues.
• Develop, implement, record, and report routine internal and customer quality audits.
• Create and implement standard work instructions, quality alerts, and SOPs.
• Measure parts to prints using calipers, micrometers, or CMM.
• Test to ensure cases meet internal and customer requirements.
