Job summary

Milo’s Tea Company Inc is a fast-growing beverage company committed to People First and environmental stewardship. The Quality Technician I role ensures product quality and food safety by enforcing Milo’s quality standards, conducting routine tests, and maintaining lab equipment.

This onsite position supports GMP/SQF programs and daily QA operations. Applicants should have an associate degree or equivalent; a biology/food science background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum two-year college or technical school degree (A.A. or equivalent).
• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Food Science or Chemistry preferred; or 3 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all products are produced per Milo’s quality standards.
• Obtain samples for bacteria plating and daily quality checks.
• Monitor GMP or SQF compliance and Food Safety/Quality standards.
• Maintain lab equipment and calibrations per schedule.
• Assist with raw ingredient receipt and sampling
• Perform routine testing (weights, volumes, colors, brix, codes, packaging integrity)

Education

Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent

Bachelors in Biology, Food Science or Chemistry preferred
