How you will make an impact:

Looking to make a difference in a role that ensures the quality and reliability of cutting-edge currency and authentication solutions? As a Quality Technician at Crane Currency, you'll be crucial in testing our products, supporting New Product Development, and tackling production issues. Join us in maintaining excellence through process monitoring, improvement, and troubleshooting. Become part of a team where your skills drive technological innovation forward.

  • Work collaboratively for the execution of routine and non-routine analysis of existing products and materials under development.

  • Accurately and efficiently prepare and test samples based on existing procedures and/or recipes and instructions provided by the scientists and process engineers.

  • Collect test samples, data and record results. Document results reporting with basic statistics including tables, graphs, photos and written reports.

  • Assist with maintenance of quality procedures and work instructions.

  • Perform daily, weekly, or monthly routine equipment verification, recording results and escalating any malfunctions.

  • Based on operational need, Crosstrain and train Associates on equipment/process/products may be asked.

  • Assure compliance with ISO standards and complete other tasks as assigned.

  • Support organizational continuous improvement activities as required.

Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent in experience.

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a Quality-focused technical role.

  • Ability to perform required functions with minimal direct supervision.

  • Ability to read, write, keep neat and accurate records, and follow written and verbal instructions.

  • Ability to work with computer systems including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

  • Must be willing to work shift work, overtime, and weekends as required.

  • For all U.S. positions: Must be a U.S. Citizen with an ability to demonstrate and maintain suitability for employment in a position of Public Trust consistent with our US Government contract requirements.

Preferred:

  • Associate’s degree in a technical field or commensurate experience.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  • Experience in using a variety of precision measuring tools, including desktop calipers, optical comparators, and digital microscopes.

Shift schedule: Monday - Friday 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM

3rd shift receives a 20% shift differential.
