Hiring immediately for Quality Inspectors working in our Exeter, NH R&D and Prototype facility


3rd Shift Schedule - Sun-Thurs 9:30pm - 5:45am - base rate plus 30% Shift Differential


Position Summary:


As a Quality Inspector, you play a critical role in upholding our reputation for precision, reliability, and innovation. Your expertise ensures that every component meets the highest standards, supporting the safety and performance in the field and beyond. The Quality Inspector is responsible for the performance of routine mechanical inspections per the technical documentation provided using pre-trained/determined methods to determine product acceptability.


FLSA: Non-Exempt


Job Duties and Responsibilities



  • Collect and review inspection data to ensure component integrity and investigate/resolve discrepancies found during part inspection.

  • Locate appropriate programs, load components into inspection equipment, run basic inspection programs, and report results.

  • Identify features for inspection and correctly assign dimensional values and tolerances specified in print to a given feature.

  • Regular on-site attendance/punctuality is a necessary function of this position.

  • May be required to work in other functional areas and/or facilities depending on business needs.

  • May be required to work overtime or alternate shifts based on business needs.

  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned.


Education/Experience & Skills:



  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Basic proficiency in blueprint reading.

  • Familiarity with and basic understanding of GD&T symbology assigned per ASME Y14.5.

  • Fluent in setup of simple parts and understanding of proper use of basic mechanical inspection equipment.

  • Must be able to clearly, concisely, and accurately convey ideas and information to others, both verbally and in written form.

  • Expected to contribute in primary areas of inspection for which training has been provided.

  • Strong time management skills.

  • Communicate effectively to supervision verbally and in written format regarding problems and corrective action.

  • Participate in 5S workplace organizational activities and maintain work area in accordance with 5S standard.
