Qualifications

Job description

Foxconn Wisconsin is seeking a Quality Technician to join our quality team. In this role, you will contribute to quality improvement projects and change initiatives within a production environment, utilizing critical thinking skills to advance your career in Smart Manufacturing.

Current open shift:
3rd Shift: Sun- Thur 11:30pm-7:30am

The Quality Technician will support subassembly and final assembly operations, testing subassemblies and final assemblies, and providing support to the Quality Department as needed.

Job Responsibilities Include:
  • Recognize and identify different electronic components; use common electronic tools proficiently.
  • Support subassembly and final assembly operations, testing, and inspection.
  • Perform final inspections and prepare quality reports.
  • Verify that repaired units meet standards of appearance, functionality, and quality.
  • Read prints and interpret codes or alphanumeric data on wires and components.
  • Inspect refurbished products before shipment to ensure quality and appearance standards.
  • Provide feedback on trends or failure conditions to supervisors.
  • Assist Quality Engineers with measurement analysis during production launches and other tasks.
  • Ensure calibration and proper functioning of test equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing servers at the subassembly level, including replacing hard drives, memory, motherboards, etc.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience as an Inspector or Quality Technician preferred.
  • High visual acuity and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Willingness to learn new applications and programs.
  • Ability to work alone with minimal supervision.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills for technical information.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
