Foxconn Wisconsin is seeking a Quality Technician who will work as part of the quality team to deliver quality improvement projects and change initiatives. Once part of the team, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks within the quality department in a production environment and have the opportunity to display critical thinking skills to expand your career in Smart Manufacturing.

Current open shift:
3rd Shift: Sun- Thur 11:30pm-7:30am

The Quality Technician will support subassembly & final assembly operations, testing subassemblies, final assemblies, and assist the Quality Department as needed.

Job Responsibilities Include:

1. Recognize and identify different electronic components; familiarity with common electronic tools.
2. Support subassembly & final assembly operations, testing, and inspection.
3. Perform final inspections and prepare quality reports.
4. Verify repaired units for standards of appearance, functionality, and quality.
5. Read prints and interpret codes on wires and components.
6. Inspect refurbished products before shipment to ensure conformance.
7. Provide feedback on trends or failure conditions.
8. Assist Quality Engineers with measurement analysis and other duties.
9. Ensure test equipment calibration and proper functioning.
10. Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

1. Experience troubleshooting and repairing servers, including component removal and replacement.
2. High school diploma or GED.
3. Experience as an Inspector or Quality Technician.
4. High visual acuity and organizational skills.
5. Ability to work independently and in a team.
6. Capacity to learn new applications and programs.
7. Ability to analyze and communicate technical information effectively.
8. Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
