2nd shift: 3:00pm - 11:00pm; 3rd shift: 11:00pm - 7:00am

The Quality Technician will perform inspections according to documented procedures and work with operations and engineering to ensure products meet customer requirements.

What You'll Do:
  • Complete part inspections promptly and ensure accuracy of results.
  • Review non-conforming measurement results to verify accuracy and decide on the next steps (rerun, resubmission, calibration, containment).
  • Escalate non-conformances when necessary to operations, engineering, and quality engineers.
  • Use the sign-in/sign-out process for lab submissions to maintain inspection records.
  • Determine conformance of suspect materials/products.
  • Review suspect materials/products against acceptance criteria and decide on their suitability for use.
  • Participate in the containment process of suspect materials.
  • Work with operations to ensure all suspect materials are identified per procedures.
  • Communicate non-conformances to quality, engineering, and operations teams.
  • Re-inspect all reworked parts following procedures.
  • Perform process and product audits.
  • Participate in the LPA process as needed.
  • Contribute to Gage R&R and capability studies.
  • Conduct product audits to support production and problem resolution.

Requirements:

What We Need from You:
  • Technical drawing interpretation skills.
  • Experience with gages, micrometers, height gauges, calipers, profilometers, CMM, contour tracers, spectrometers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

Preferred Certifications:

  • ASQ, CQI
  • ASQ, QCT
