Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience in Quality Control/Assurance is essential.
  • Familiarity with measurement tools and data entry databases.

Responsibilities

  • Visually inspect materials to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Report any deficiencies and manage waste separation.
  • Ensure equipment functionality and communicate production updates.

Job description

We are seeking a Quality Technician based in our Byhalia, MS Factory. This position is on the 3rd shift, 11:00PM-7:30AM Monday-Friday, with a shift change to 6:00PM-6:30AM, and rotating days off on a 2-2-3 basis starting June 2025.

What you bring:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Understanding of Health & Safety requirements and safe work practices
  • Self-motivated with high energy and commitment
  • Ability to read and understand instructions and specifications
  • Experience with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, tapes)
  • Background in Quality Control/Assurance
  • Familiarity with data entry databases like Access
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Experience with visual quality inspections
  • Previous manufacturing experience
What you will be doing:
  • Visually inspect materials to meet quality standards
  • Report deficiencies and irregularities
  • Manage waste separation
  • Ensure equipment functionality and safety
  • Plan product changeovers efficiently
  • Communicate issues and production updates to shifts
  • Complete shutdown procedures
