Responsibilities

1. Component and assembled part layout in accordance with drawings.
2. Perform line Faro measurements for quality concerns.
3. Support and engage in addressing deviations.
4. Assist with calibration, Gage Trak, and system (inspection, test equipment, functional gages).
5. Complete capability studies on critical, major, and minor characteristics.
6. Develop programs following PPAP principles and practices.
7. Document and record data on inspection forms legibly.
8. Maintain a safe and clean work area (5S methodology).
9. Promote quality workmanship that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
10. Use Microsoft Office proficiently (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, Teams).
11. Assist with housekeeping in the MRB area.
12. Support operations with NCMR process and inspect parts.
13. Follow ITAR procedures when appropriate.
14. Assist MRB area with material handling, inventory, and non-standard jobs.
15. Perform other duties as directed by the manager.

Education and Experience Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role preferred.
• Ability to read tape measurements and manual calipers.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.

Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of quality plans and controls.
• Gauging knowledge required.
• CMM knowledge preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of preventive vs. predictive maintenance techniques.
• Detail-oriented.
• Adhere to safety and OSHA procedures; maximum lifting of 25 lbs without assistance; PPE required at times.
• Ability to stand, sit, and walk at least 75% of the time.

Monday - Friday, 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM
