Responsibilities
- Component and assembled part layout in accordance with drawings.
- Perform line Faro measurements for quality concerns.
- Support and engage in addressing deviations.
- Assist with calibration, Gage Trak, and system (inspection, test equipment, functional gages).
- Complete capability studies on critical, major, and minor characteristics.
- Develop programs following PPAP principles and practices.
- Document and record data on inspection forms legibly.
- Maintain a safe and clean work area (5S methodology).
- Promote quality workmanship that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
- Use Microsoft Office proficiently (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, Teams).
- Assist with housekeeping in the MRB area.
- Support operations with NCMR process and inspect parts.
- Follow ITAR procedures when appropriate.
- Assist MRB area with material handling, inventory, and non-standard jobs.
- Perform other duties as directed by the manager.
Education and Experience Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role preferred.
- Ability to read tape measurements and manual calipers.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of quality plans and controls.
- Gauging knowledge required.
- CMM knowledge preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of preventive vs. predictive maintenance techniques.
- Detail-oriented.
- Adhere to safety and OSHA procedures; maximum lifting of 25 lbs without assistance; PPE required at times.
- Ability to stand, sit, and walk at least 75% of the time.
Shift Hours
Monday - Friday, 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM
