Job Description

Enters incoming orders for pharmacy services, informs customers of order receipt, pricing, shipping dates, and delays, and responds to customer inquiries.

Hours

- 2nd shift

Responsibilities

• Enters customer details, product information, and physician data into the order system.
• Processes new medication orders and refills.
• Sorts and distributes faxed copies.
• Handles customer complaints and escalates issues when necessary.
• Verifies order accuracy and completeness.
• Assists with order preparation and shipment.
• Checks inventory for product availability.
• Reviews and forwards incomplete orders.
• Supports departmental and company goals, adhering to all policies and regulations.

Minimum Requirements

• Proficient in math and computer skills
• Excellent customer service and telephone etiquette
• Ability to sit for extended periods
• Availability for overtime, holidays, and weekends
• Knowledge of medical terminology and abbreviations
