Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Quality Technician for 2nd shift in Chicago, IL. This contract-to-hire role focuses on inspecting metal parts using precision tools and documenting results. A CMM will be used for inspection, with long-term training in CMM programming.

Daily tasks include processing parts from production through the quality funnel, with 80% inspection/documentation, 15% CMM, and 5% general duties. Fully onsite.

Job Description: Quality Technician - 2nd shift. 2 openings!

Will be working on the inspection of the different metal parts. The candidate will use a micrometer, caliper, and comparator.

Will operate a CMM machine for inspection. The candidate will need to program CMM long term. (Will be trained)

Will take parts from production and run them through the quality process

80% of the day will be inspection and documentation.

15% of the day will be CMM

5% will be more general duties such as cleaning work area and filing paperwork.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chicago, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
