Aerotek is hiring a Quality Technician in Las Vegas, NV. You will perform in-process and final inspections of precision-machined parts, reading blueprints and using calipers, micrometers, and tape measures to ensure compliance with specifications.
The role is a daytime onsite position in a machine shop, with standard hours 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, contracted to hire. Benefits and weekly pay are included as part of Aerotek's offerings.
The Quality Technician works in a machine shop environment to ensure precision‑machined parts and components meet exact customer and engineering specifications. This role focuses on in‑process and final inspections, verifying dimensions, identifying defects, and documenting compliance using precision measuring tools. By rigorously checking parts before they move to the shipping department, the Quality Technician helps prevent costly recalls and rework and supports continuous improvement of production quality.
This position is based in a machine shop setting focused on precision‑machined parts. The schedule follows daytime hours from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. You work around machining equipment and production lines, regularly using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and other inspection instruments. The environment is hands‑on and detail‑oriented, with a strong emphasis on safety, accuracy, and adherence to production and quality procedures.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Las Vegas, NV.
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
