Aerotek is seeking a Machinist to operate and set up CNC machines for precision drilling, boring, and milling in Maize, KS. You will read blueprints and setup documents, inspect parts, and ensure quality while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

This role involves operating, setting up, inspecting, cleaning, and maintaining CNC machines to support precision drilling, boring, and milling operations. You will interpret setup documents, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and other technical specifications to ensure accurate production and high-quality finished parts.
You will work in a comfortable, climate-controlled environment that supports focus, consistency, and quality. The schedule options offer structured shifts that allow you to plan your time effectively. The facility emphasizes safety, organization, and a professional atmosphere, providing a stable setting where you can develop and refine your machining skills.
The position is based in a climate-controlled manufacturing facility designed to support precision CNC machining. The 2nd shift runs from 4:15 p.m. to 2:45 a.m., Monday through Thursday, while the weekend shift runs from 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. You will work primarily with CNC equipment and related tools in a clean, orderly environment that prioritizes safety and consistent operating conditions.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Maize, KS.
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
