Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Quality Technician to join our Eminence, KY manufacturing site. You will support daily quality assurance activities, including inspections, testing, audits, and documentation to ensure products meet established standards.

The role involves calibrating gauges, conducting product/process audits, and maintaining quality records while participating in continuous improvement initiatives within an onsite manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in a technical, engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a quality, laboratory, or manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with inspection tools, measurement equipment, and quality systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to accurately document and communicate test results and inspection findings.

Responsibilities

  • Perform gauge calibration and verification activities.
  • Conduct product and process audits to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
  • Review inspection results and maintain quality records, reports, and certifications.
  • Perform testing and inspection activities, including dimensional measurements, hardness testing, tensile testing, conductivity testing, CMM inspection, and GD&T evaluations.
  • Execute sampling plans and support laboratory testing functions.
  • Assist with material inspection, sorting, and disposition of nonconforming product.
  • Support corrective action investigations and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in 6S, TPM, and other continuous improvement programs.
  • Assist with training, work instructions, and quality-related documentation.
  • Perform additional quality and laboratory support activities as needed.

Seeking a Quality Technician to join a company in Eminence, KY.

The Quality Technician supports daily quality assurance activities within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for inspections, testing, documentation, audits, and quality improvement efforts to ensure products and processes meet established standards.


Key Responsibilities


  • Perform gauge calibration and verification activities.

  • Conduct product and process audits to ensure compliance with quality requirements.

  • Review inspection results and maintain quality records, reports, and certifications.

  • Perform a variety of testing and inspection activities, including dimensional measurements, hardness testing, tensile testing, conductivity testing, CMM inspection, and GD&T evaluations.

  • Execute sampling plans and support laboratory testing functions.

  • Assist with material inspection, sorting, and disposition of nonconforming product.

  • Support corrective action investigations and quality improvement initiatives.

Work Environment


  • Onsite position in an industrial manufacturing setting.

  • Regular exposure to production equipment, noise, and varying temperatures.

  • Ability to stand, walk, inspect products, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
