Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials, components, fabricated/manufactured parts, and assemblies.
• Perform accurate First Article inspections on new parts from suppliers and issue results.
• Dispose of scrap material after the Accounting Department removes the material from the inventory database and clear the SAP parts location of scrapped material.
• Maintain accuracy of inspection files.
• Train new inspectors when needed, resolve inspection questions, and interact with suppliers.
• Perform product inspections and/or audits of quality control programs.
• Conduct manufacturing inspections, sampling, and testing of fabricated components and raw materials using Precision Measuring and Equipment.
• Read and apply production instructions, drawings, Bills of Material schematics, and specifications.
• Facilitate the disposition of part rejections with engineers, suppliers, purchasing, and quality teams.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of quality experience.
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, and gages.
• Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, geometric tolerance, and finish requirements.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
