Overview

Great Day Improvements / Champion Windows - Quality Technician 3rd Shift

As a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring the daily manufactured products and assisting in leading a lean manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished products and raw material samples using appropriate devices to ensure conformity.
• Perform pre-production and in-production tests of equipment, materials, and manufactured products.
• Identify causes of product defects and propose process improvements.
• Read and interpret blueprints, standards, procedures, and work instructions to understand quality expectations.
• Ensure production line adherence to standards and procedures.
• Train production team on quality control measures to enhance product quality.
• Communicate with managers, supervisors, and team members.
• Provide daily reports to the Quality Manager.
• Perform additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing experience.
• 2+ years of experience in quality control (preferred).
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in using measuring devices, gauging, and working with close tolerances.
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency is desirable.
• Ability to work scheduled overtime regularly.
• Open to working different shifts as needed.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
