Ichor Systems is hiring for a full-time Quality Technician, Material Review Board Coordinator, located at our Austin, TX location.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Other duties may be assigned.
- Coordinate, track, and manage the status of all in-house MRB material.
- Fully own MRB meetings, acting as the Quality department representative.
- Ensure NCRs are appropriately dispositioned, approved, and completed.
- Drive NCR dispositions to close using ERP system workflows, leveraging cross-functional team support.
- Issue work orders in the ERP system to manage non-conformance dispositions and track these orders to completion.
- Interface daily with various departments to seek closure on open MRB items.
- Conduct regular NCR review meetings and inventory activities.
- Ensure nonconforming products and purged materials are properly identified, labeled, and contained.
- Investigate and drive RMAs to completion through appropriate channels.
- Update and improve documentation and procedures to meet MRB system objectives and requirements.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings of complex mechanical or electrical components.
- Ability to read testing instruments and record inspection results.
- Proficiency in using mechanical or electrical inspection tools, instruments, and devices.
- Mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, percentages, and decimals. Ability to prioritize work as directed.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with Agile systems.
- Physical ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Education, Certifications, and Experience
- 2-3+ years of quality or related work experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Some technical or college education.
- Familiarity with GMP and ISO methods.
