Ichor Systems is hiring for a full-time Quality Technician, Material Review Board Coordinator, located at our Austin, TX location.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Other duties may be assigned.

1. Coordinate, track, and manage the status of all in-house MRB material.
2. Fully own MRB meetings, acting as the Quality department representative.
3. Ensure NCRs are appropriately dispositioned, approved, and completed.
4. Drive NCR dispositions to close using ERP system workflows, leveraging cross-functional team support.
5. Issue work orders in the ERP system to manage non-conformance dispositions and track these orders to completion.
6. Interface daily with various departments to seek closure on open MRB items.
7. Conduct regular NCR review meetings and inventory activities.
8. Ensure nonconforming products and purged materials are properly identified, labeled, and contained.
9. Investigate and drive RMAs to completion through appropriate channels.
10. Update and improve documentation and procedures to meet MRB system objectives and requirements.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings of complex mechanical or electrical components.
• Ability to read testing instruments and record inspection results.
• Proficiency in using mechanical or electrical inspection tools, instruments, and devices.
• Mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, percentages, and decimals. Ability to prioritize work as directed.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with Agile systems.
• Physical ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Education, Certifications, and Experience

• 2-3+ years of quality or related work experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Some technical or college education.
• Familiarity with GMP and ISO methods.
