Job summary

Carlisle Construction Materials in Sikeston, MO seeks a Quality Assurance Technician to test finished product during and after production, and to inspect the warehouse. You will read close tolerance gauges, use calibration equipment, and input data into SAP and SAPI systems.

Responsibilities include facer sampling, density and strength tests, dimensional checks, and observing the Mahlo system. Forklift certification and a commitment to safety and teamwork are required.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Experience with driving a forklift.
  • Previous experience with Quality Testing preferred.

  • Housekeeping of Plant inside and out.
  • Assist in training of new team members.

  • Fill in other areas of the plant as required.

  • Must Certify as a forklift operator

Education And Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Experience with driving a forklift
  • Previous experience with Quality Testing preferred

  • Measurement equipment as outlined in the Carlisle quality assurance manual
  • Various tools (measurement gauges including calipers, tape measures and scales, thermal conductivity machine, various thickness measurement device and freezer temperature probe) and required PPE as needed
  • Office equipment (computer, phone, kiosk)
  • Computer systems (SAPI, SAP, MS programs)
