Job summary

TFT Global Inc. is seeking a Quality Team Leader to provide hands-on leadership to a team of Quality Inspectors on the manufacturing floor in Ohio.

You will train inspectors, communicate quality expectations, and help maintain 5S and ISO procedures while ensuring safe, accurate work and close collaboration with customers. The role emphasizes leadership growth, hands-on supervision, and data review, with timekeeping support and participation in orientation, training, and competency reviews as

Qualifications

• Experience in quality inspection, quality control, manufacturing, production, automotive, warehouse, or a related environment.
• Experience training, mentoring, guiding, or supporting coworkers.
• Strong communication skills.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow and explain work instructions and procedures.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn job-related systems and scanners.
• Familiarity with 5S, ISO procedures, or continuous improvement is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively with employees and customers.
• Flexibility to meet changing customer and operational needs.
• A valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and vehicle insurance, as some local travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on leadership and daily direction to Quality Inspectors.
• Train Inspectors on work instructions, quality expectations, and job requirements.
• Prepare and communicate work instructions.
• Help set up work cells and maintain 5S and organized work areas.
• Review quality and production data.
• Support accurate timekeeping for assigned employees.
• Participate in new employee orientation and training.
• Provide input for employee performance evaluations.
• Complete competency reviews for Inspectors.
• Communicate with customer representatives when needed.
• Support ISO procedures, continuous improvement, safety, and quality requirements.
• Help ensure work is performed safely, accurately, and according to customer expectations.
