Qualifications

• 4-year Engineering or technical degree required; MS preferred.
• 5-7 years of manufacturing experience with 3-5 years in quality systems
• Metallurgy or metals fabrication experience highly desired
• Motivated leader with track record of enabling process and quality improvements
• In-depth knowledge of multiple quality management systems required
• Knowledge of AS9100 is required; NADCAP a plus
• Analytical, data-driven problem solving and prioritization
• Familiarity with SPC, FMEA, DOE, Gage R&R and related quality tools
• Excel, Word, PowerPoint proficiency and data literacy

Responsibilities

• Lead and support team members to achieve an injury-free work-place.
• Establish and execute the quality assurance strategy for the Superior Tube site.
• Manage compliance to quality and procedural requirements for products.
• Maintain quality programs in good standing with customer and registrar requirements.
• Drive quality cost reduction through COPQ measurement and sustained improvements.
• Manage QA plans with risk analyses and preventive actions.
• Develop quality onboarding for new hires and maintain documentation.
