Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. in San Diego seeks a Staff Quality Systems leader to advance the QMS for data center hardware, aligning with ISO 9001 certification and customer quality expectations.

You will collaborate with engineering, operations and leadership to embed quality into product lifecycles, drive audits, CAPA, traceability, and risk management across complex server and rack platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and 4+ years of Supplier Quality Assurance experience
• Experience planning and executing ISO 9001-based audits (internal/external)
• Knowledge of IPC-A-610 for electronic hardware acceptability in server/data center hardware
• Experience with product traceability programs and genealogy requirements in complex hardware supply chains
• Familiarity with Hyperscaler quality program requirements (e.g., OCP standards) and related QC processes
• Strong problem-solving, root-cause analysis and structured improvement orientation
• ASQ/ISO Lead Auditor or Six Sigma certification is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead development and continuous improvement of a QMS for data center hardware.
• Translate contractual obligations into internal quality flow-downs for design and manufacturing.
• Lead audits/assessments across DC products and stage-gate quality gates.
• Translate customer quality agreements into internal controls and supplier flow-downs.
• Analyze quality data and drive CAPA/lessons learned for enterprise risks.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations and leadership to align quality objectives.
• Manage product traceability programs and genealogy requirements in complex supply chains.
